DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOUTUBE, BATTABOX AND IROKOTV

Youtube, Battabox and IrokoTv are all an online channel with various motive and purpose, and also they are all own by different people out of which it is only Battabox and IrokoTv that are owned by Nigeria indigene and also based and operate from Nigeria.

Youtube on the other side is own by Google and it is just one out of the products that google owns just like the search engine which is referred to as Google Search which is a worldwide renowned search engine.

YOUTUBE is an open and online video search engine platform where individual determines what he/she want to be and do, to some they see it as a medium through which they can teach what they know, while some see it as an avenue to get to know more things in practical rather than doing a long reading of materials which might be complicated. YouTube provide the platform for which the content creator interact with the content consumer to also know the need of his people (i.e. the content consumer), by the use of comment. There are two categories of content consumers on YouTube and they are Subscribers and Viewers. Those that subscribe to a certain channel are the follower of the content creator of the channel and they are the first to get notified about any new content from the content creator on a first come first serve  basis while the Viewers are just the general audience that just browser a certain channel when he/she is doing a search and come about the channel similar to what he/she is searching the internet for and it just a view action that is performed and not subscribe in other to receive more content in relation to the search queries in the nearest future.

BATTABOX is just like picking a certain point out of the numerous opportunity which YouTube provides and then re-brand it and package it for a specified purpose. So, unlike YouTube where everything Battabox offer or well-known for is just like a spot of YouTube but with addition of icing on the cake with branding.

The ranking of this three categories of online channels is in the order of YouTube first, for the all-encompassing content it contain, followed by IrokoTv, for as many Nigerian in Diaspora that are more keen with Nigerian movies industries and those that want to have a taste of Nigeria movies abroad, while Battabox take the least due to different tailored content but streamlined to Nigeria alone and until there is a common request or hot-story which is kind of rave of the moment issues in Nigeria which at times might not be covered by presenters from Battabox for it to feature but individuals that would love to check out for such story will first check YouTube before considering Battabox as the second option.
